Despite the name of this project, there are books that I have read more than once, but decide to review, because I haven’t read them in years. This is one such book, and a decade makes a difference.

In my early twenties, Fornier’s only published novel had a profound impact, as I navigated young adulthood. Now in my thirties, it simply reads as a tale of immaturity under the weighty burden of adulthood.
