First and foremost, this autobiography must be consumed as an audiobook, because it's narrated by Matthew himself. His voice makes an intriguing story even more captivating, to the point where it felt wrong listening at 1.25x speed. Generally, McConaughey is far more interesting than an average person, and while it may not be an enlightening read in many ways, it’s an entertaining way to pass the time on a road trip.
