This one was difficult to get through, in large part due to the “historical biography” categorization, but I had heard great things for years and finally found the 40+ hour window I’d need to digest the audiobook. I was able to complete it, but it was not enjoyable, and has only further cemented my sincere lack of interest in such elongated retellings.
